VIRGINIA NATIONAL SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION 2008 NEWSLETTER
TEAM NSA VIRGINIA THANKS ALL FOR THEIR SUPPORT IN 07
We want to take this opportunity to thank the 400 plus
teams that participated in NSA sanctioned events in 2007. As
you read this newsletter you will see that 2008 promises to
be another quality year in Virginia. We strongly believe
that on a local and national level our tournaments provide
the players with quality competition, good sportsmanship and
outstanding officiating. We look forward to seeing you all
between the lines in 08.

Adult Women's Fastpitch Teams Forming.
Will have tournaments in Williamsburg and Salem
in June, July and Aug. Teams can play with players 16 and
over ( unlimited age) 23U teams can also compete in these
tournaments. For further information contact
Frank Rachubka. Players interested but nor having a team
should also contact me. We are also trying to form a league
playing during the week in the Williamsburg/Newport News

Change to the 2008 Scholarship Program: Each VA NSA
Director will award a $500 scholarship in 2008. No
application required - blind draw done at the tournament.
Directors will specify the date of the scholarship
tournament .

STATE RANKINGS FOR 2007
Congratulations goes out to the Yorktown
Revolution 10U,Roanoke Valley Vipers 12U,
Virginia Lady Titans 14U, Sudden Impact 16U, and
the Renegades 18U for finishing ranked #1 for 2007.
Each player and coach from each team was awarded a
back pack with their team name, age group and 2007 #1
ranking printed on the bag! |
